The campaign’s presence near the Henderson Bridge, which unites Providence and East Providence, reflects Blazejewski’s efforts to bring the district together and build a wide-ranging coalition of supporters on both sides of the river.
“South Angell Street is a corridor representing the vital link between Providence and East Providence,” said Blazejewski. “I’m excited to have a campaign headquarters here to serve and unite residents as we continue the fight to grow a stronger economy for working families, strengthen our public education system, and protect our environment and public waterfront.”
To welcome neighbors to the new headquarters, the campaign will hold an Open House and Neighborhood Canvass on Saturday, July 10, 10am – 1pm. On the same day, area residents and volunteers will conduct a door-to-door outreach in the district.
Area residents Brett Smiley and Jim DeRentis said, “We think it is great that Chris has opened his headquarters in our neighborhood. We look forward to joining our neighbors there to get the message out about why Chris is the best candidate for State Representative.”
“This office is part of the district and belongs to its residents," said Blazejewski. “Please stop by, volunteer, and join me as we work to build progress and prosperity in Rhode Island.”
